Your artists are our artists – RSK is proud to work with some of the finest artists on the classical scene today – artists of the calibre of Rachel Podger, Ingrid Fliter, Pavel Haas Quartet, Ivan Fischer, John Butt, The Dunedin Consort, Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Sandrine Piau, Veronqiue Gens, Phantasm, Choir Of Merton College, Oxford, Jos van Immerseel, Philip Herreweghe and Collegium Vocale, Lionel Meunier and Vox Luminis, the Smetana Trio, Sarah Willis and exciting new comers like Behzod Abduraimov, Jodie Devos and Sean Shibe. Having an inhouse PR team that represents these artists recordings means we have insider knowledge of the relationship between promotion and sales. We also pride ourselves on our close relationships with traditional bricks and mortar classical specialist retailers who we support with in store promotion like instore play CDs, leaflets and posters. We also have close relationships with independent online accounts like Presto, Europadisc and Compact Music. We also have Amazon and other national account specialists.
RSK Classical’s in-house publicity department has over 15 years of proven results. We offer dedicated public relations packages for the UK press and media. Alongside those all important reviews, we work hard to increase label and artist profiles in the UK through editorial coverage, interviews, and airplay on Classic FM, Scala and the BBC. Because we control much of the publicity in-house we can inform retail instantly when any reviews are printed – which means our labels don’t lose sales opportunities. RSK artists have won dozens of Gramophone and BBC Music Magazine awards in the past 6 years. Our labels have won the Gramophone Label of the Year Award for the past two years running as well as two that have won the award previously. We are increasingly exploring new opportunities, partnerships and media in order to further publicise our artists and labels. Our relationships are incredibly important to us and form the cornerstone of our PR work and our approach to PR is like everything else we do, tailored to fit the individual parties to best suit their needs – whether that be the artist or the media outlet.
